How would MAST approach the implementation of the ISPS code onboard a yacht?

The ISPS code should be considered as the start of a security policy, it is not an all inclusive strategy. The ISPS code should be implemented onboard a yacht or ship supported by a professional security provider to relieve the burden of responsibility from the crew. It should be regarded as a framework to be augmented by outside assistance. The code should be written for the vessel by a security partner who will continue to work with the yacht manager/owner after the yacht is compliant.
